Twin Branches Trail Map

To run this trail from the W&OD, begin at a dirt path that heads south, which you find just west of Buckthorn Lane.

Follow the path for a couple hundred yards and cross the Reston Association foot bridge (#43). Run for about ½ mile until you get to a small earthen dam. DO NOT continue straight, unless you want some extra mileage.

Turn left and run along the top of the earthen dam. Next, cross a second Reston Association foot bridge (#44) and run about ¼ mile to the dam for Lake Audubon at Twin Branches Road.

Follow the gravel road, up the hill, to the left, finishing across from the intersection of Twin Branches Road and Glade Drive.

This trail connects with the Difficult Run / Tamarack Park trail to the north and the Glade / Fox Mill trail to the south.
